Growth Strategy Session

IMG_2132ecentre works with existing early stage companies to identify constraints and strategies for growth. These sessions are facilitated workshops that use the tools and methodologies used by start-ups to create a successful business model and to find customers.
The Strategy Session is two consecutive workshops from 1-4 weeks apart. The first workshop uncovers the issues and priorities and identifies any knowledge gaps. The second workshop drills down on key issues that need to be addressed. Typical issues constraining growth are lack of investment; lack of sales and marketing; incomplete market fit; unsuitable structure; lack of governance or management resource; lack of partners or channels and lack of investment readiness.
The outcome is recommendations for strategies and actions to achieve the desired goals of the company or a roadmap for going forward. Companies may repeat the two workshops 2-3 months later after they have implemented a number of changes.
Strategy Sessions have qualified for the NZTE and Callaghan Innovation Regional Business Partner Network Capability Development Voucher Scheme. If eligible, companies can claim a voucher to cover half the cost of the Strategy Session.

Software System Assessment

IMG_1594ecentre provides an independent assessment for small companies that develop, design or have created their own software. This will benefit companies that use or sell a software system to other businesses, including cloud-based applications, web applications, mobile applications, and embedded software.
This one-to-one workshop provides guidance on how to improve software design, technology choices, software tools, development processes, and performance. In particular how to optimise, integrate, scale or meet other requirements for their system to achieve growth of their business.
This will help businesses that have designed and developed their own software solution either for their own use or for sale to other businesses. Companies can get advice on how best to migrate a software system to the cloud and how to get the best performance out of cloud-based solutions.
Advice on the software design, software architecture, technology, tools and functionality will help companies move to a more efficient software platform. Agile and LEAN methodologies may be recommended and advice given on operation of the software system, e.g. using DevOps techniques. The outcome may be a roadmap for improvement of the software system and associated processes so they are optimised to meet the future requirements of the business and needs for growth.
